·
Unpack the motor and pump from cartons, and check for shipping
damage. If shipping damage is found, save the packaging and notify the
carrier immediately.
·
Remove the two socket head bolts from the head of the pump tube.
·
Place the coupling insert onto the coupling-half of the pump tube.
·
Position the electrical motor handle (the ball valve and the muffler on the
air motor), so it is opposite the pump’s discharge spout. Insert the
bottom of the motor into the head of the pump tube and “jiggle” until the
coupling is seated.
·
Reinsert the two socket head bolts into the pump head and hand tighten
(do not over tighten).
Note: Screws will not insert unless motor is properly seated and posi-
tioned on the pump tube.
·
Install a discharge hose onto the spout [3/4” (20 mm) barbed hose
fitting], and clamp securely.

INTENDED DUTY/USER NOTES
The electric motor is intermittent duty (15 minutes on/15 minutes off).
The air motor requires 80 psi @25 cfm and we recommend an in-line filter/
lubrication system for prolonged life.
The pump is designed for transfer of liquids within a temperature range of
40°F (5°C) to 120
o
F (49
o
C). Maximum liquid specific gravity is 1.2,
maximum viscosity is 150 centipoise. Not compatible with liquids
containing abrasives or solids.
Materials of construction (wetted) are:
Polypropylene, PVDF, and PTFE with a 316 stainless steel or alloy 625
shaft.
The electric motor has a thermal overload device. If the overload device
trips, it must be manually reset by removing electrical power (place switch
in OFF position) and allowing the motor to cool to ambient temperature.
Flow performance for electric and air motors is approximately 5 gallons per
minute (19 liters per minute). Performance may vary depending upon the
characteristics of the liquid.
For faster prime and better flow, lift the pump slightly off the bottom of the
container during operation.
The electric motor supply cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged,
the motor should be replaced.
