4.5 Control Signal Wiring
All AFC1150 inputs and outputs are active true low. All interface devices must accommodate
active true low logic for correct operation. Outputs are rated at 12-24 VDC, 200 ma. When
activated, open collector sink outputs (normally high) pull the input device signal low (0 VDC).
Inputs are sourced (normally high) and activated when pulled low (0 VDC).
CAUTION:
The PLC input and output (I/O) wiring must be routed a minimum of 300 mm (12") away
from any transient high voltage sources. Cable length must not exceed 15 meters (50').
4.5.1 Interface Terminal (I/O)
The I/O terminal features "clamp" style connectors for easy wiring. Minimum 24 AWG wire is
recommended.
