6.1 Back-Out Mode Set-Up
w The setting of the MODE switch will enable the operator to select between a 2-speed or
constant speed operation.
w Verify power is off, or bypass mode has been selected and IN BYPASS switch is lit, prior to
changing the setting of the MODE switches.
Runs only in high speed.
HIGH SPEED MODE. 1
Runs only in slow speed.
SLOW SPEED MODE. 2
Do not select this mode.
NOT USED. 3
This mode starts in slow speed
and accelerates to high speed,
after a pre-set period.

NOTE: Select only one mode. Verify that only one switch is set to the "on" position.
6.1.1 High Speed Mode
w In this mode, equipment will run only in high speed, as chosen by setting the HIGH SPEED
switches.
w The time indicated by the SLOW START TIME switches and the SLOW START SPEED
switch settings will be invalid, and no speed change will occur.
w This mode is most applicable when no high breakaway torque exists, and high speed
back-out is the only requirement.
