This accessory is designed for processing small
amounts of food in the home and is not intended
for industrial use.
The blender is suitable for
– blending and frothing liquids,
– cutting and chopping raw fruit, vegetables,
nuts and chocolate,
– puréeing soups, cooked fruit and
vegetables,
– preparing mayonnaise and sauces.

Safety Information
Blender must be completely assembled before
it is attached to the appliance and operated.
Before attaching or removing the blender,
wait until the drive has come to a standstill
and pull out the mains plug.
Operate the blender in the indicated operating
position only.
Keep children away from the appliance.
Never operate the blender empty.
Do not operate the blender without the lid
attached.
Lid must be locked correctly.
Never expose the glass container to severe
temperature fluctuations.
Wait until the liquid is lukewarm before pouring
it into the container.
While working, always hold the lid firmly with one
hand. Do not grip the feed tube!

Putting the blender together:
 Insert blender holder with seal into
the blender jug, ensuring that the line
is under the arrow.
 Attach blender holder by rotating it as far
as possible to the right (Fig. 2a).
Operating the appliance

 Press release button and move swivel arm
into the operating position.
 Drive covers must be attached.
Ensure that they are attached properly!
 Remove the blender drive cover.
 Attach the blender (note mark on the
appliance and on the blender) and rotate as
far as possible in an anti-clockwise direction.
 Add ingredients.
– Maximum amount of liquid ingredients
= 1.75 litres;
– Maximum amount of frothing or hot
liquids = 0.75 litres;
– Optimum processing amount of solid
ingredients = 100 grams.
 Attach lid and lock by rotating it in a clock-
wise direction.
 Set the rotary switch to the desired setting.

Important information
The appliance will not switch on
if the tool drive cover is missing
or if the blender is attached incorrectly.
When working, hold the blender cover
by the edge. Do not grip the feed
tube!
