5.2.3 Programming
of
Stimulation Pulses and Triggers
For programming and downloading of stimulation pulses in MC_Stimulus II please see the
respective manual.
The USB-MEA32-STIM4 device has four internal trigger outputs, Sync Out 1 to 4, which can
be assigned to the four stimulation channels. These four Sync Out channels will show up in
MC_Rack on bits 0 to 3 of the digital channel, so it is possible in MC_Rack to trigger on the
exact time point of stimulation from each of the four internal stimulation channels.
Please use the Auto Sync Settings dialog from the Edit menu to assign one Sync Out to
each stimulation channel. Check if the Auto Sync function is activated in the Settings menu.
Pre and post time are only relevant for amplifiers with blanking function, both can be set to 0.
To be able to start and stop all four stimulation channels individually, please assign
the stimulation channels and the corresponding Sync Out to individual triggers in the
Trigger Settings dialog in the Edit menu.
