3. Select one of the options under Auto off to set the length of the
idle period that can elapse before the instrument automatically
switches off.
Note: After the instrument switches itself off automatically, you have to
press the push-button switch on the back of the instrument to start it
again.
5.2.6 PC und Drucker
The DR 2800/DR 2800 eco series is provided with 2 USB
interfaces, which are located on the back of the instrument (see
Figure 2 Interfaces on page 16 ). These interfaces can be used to
output data and graphics to printers, to update data, and to transfer
data to a PC. A USB memory stick is used to update data, see
6.6.2
Upgrading the Instrument Software on page 101 .
Important Note: A USB cable must not be longer than 3 m!
