A.2 Assembling the Pour-Thru module
Installing Pour-Thru Cell
1. Open the cell compartment.
2. Insert the pour-thru cell adapter in the cell compartment (2) so
that the arrow on the adapter points left towards the cell
compartment (1) for round cells and the imprint of the cell type
is readable (see
3.7.1 Installing the cell adapter (DR 2800 only)
on page 20 ).
3. Clean the Pour-Thru Cell with a lint-free cloth and insert it in the
cell holder so that the cell windows coincide with those of the
cell holder.
4. Connect the cell inflow and outflow tubes to the Pour-Thru Cell.
Note: Take care that there are no kinks in tubes, as this will impair their
proper functioning!
Installing the sample inflow and sample outflow construction
1. Connect the inflow tube of the cell to the fitting at the bottom of
the glass funnel and clamp the glass funnel to the stand, see
Figure 18 Installation Pour-Thru Cell Kit on page 124 .
2. Connect the outflow tube of the cell to the top fitting of the stand
pipe.
3. Connect the drain tube (black rubber tube) to the bottom fitting
of the stand tube and clamp the stand pipe to the stand, see
Figure 18 Installation Pour-Thru Cell Kit on page 124 . The free
end of the rubber tube should be connected to an appropriate
waste vessel.
The tubes can be shortened if necessary.
