Start Up
4.3 Self Check
Each time the instrument is powered up, a series of diagnostic tests
is performed automatically to ensure operation of major system
components.
This procedure, which takes approximately two minutes, checks the
system, lamp, filter adjustment, wavelength calibration, and
voltage. Each range which functions correctly is confirmed with a
checkmark.
The ”Main Menu“ is displayed when power up diagnostics are
completed.
If the instrument detects any deviation relative to the last
calibration, you are advised to carry out a system check.
1.
Remove the cuvette from the cell compartment and close the
lid.
2.
Then press Start.
The system check is carried out (duration approx. 6 minutes).
