CoolLogic Control System Features
The CoolLogic Control System governs all top level
events, timing, compressor staging and provides
operator interface for all levels of setting and retrieving
data. The Control System provides a leaving chilled
solution temperature control algorithm maintaining
accurate temperature control for both comfort and
process applications. Each Module has a unique address
code to allow indexing by the CoolLogic Control System.
A compressor run time equalization sequence is
provided to ensure even distribution of compressor run
time throughout the entire chiller bank. Chiller power
consumption is minimized by indexing the most effi
cient
stages of cooling, optimizing the heat transfer surface.
Master Control Panel includes the following standard
features:
• NEMA Type 1 enclosure (24” x 24” x 8.5”)
• Operator interface
• 120/24 volt control power supply with surge
protection
• 120 volt convenience receptacle
• Power and fault indicator lights
• Three position selector switch
• Local,
Off , Remote
• Temperature sensor with wells for chiller system
evaporator and condenser water inlet and outlet
(fi eld installed)
• Voltage/phase monitor for chiller system (fi eld
installed)
Operator Interface
The CoolLogic Control System includes a four line by 40
character, back-lit LCD display operator interface panel.
The interface is user friendly with logically grouped
menus. This enables the user to access important
information concerning set points, active temperatures,
pressures, operation modes, alarm conditions, chiller
scheduling, servicing, diagnostics
and more.
