Drive Belt Replacement and Adjustment
MAINTENANCE & SERVICE
1. Disassemble the belt guard by removing the
3 bolts on the face of the belt guard.
2. Loosen the 4 bolts on the cutting shroud as
shown.
3. Loosen the Jam Nuts on the adjusting jack
screws shown.
4 Turn the square head jack screws clockwise
to tighten the belt or counter clockwise to
loosen the belt. Be sure to tighten all nuts and
bolts after adjustment has been made.
Check for proper belt tension by squeezing the
belt together.
The belt should be depressed approximately 1/4”
- 3/4” from its original position.
