MAINTENANCE & SERVICE
Cleaning and Washing
Regular cleaning, washing and lubricating will prolong the life of your equipment.
Use care with power washers to avoid damage to the warning and operation decals. Watch also
for bearings, chain and engine and avoid direct spray to these items.
Do not exceed 1000 psi water pressure for cleaning.
Two minute warning
Stump grinder may be tipped for cleaning and access for no more than 2 minutes. Engine
damage may result from gasoline draining into the crankcase if prolonged. See engine
manufacturer’s operating and maintenance instructions.
Storage
•
Refer to engine manufacturer’s instructions for engine storage information.
•
Clean machine.
•
Cover all scratches with touch up paint.
•
Lubricate according to Lubrication Schedule.
•
Lightly oil blade and teeth to inhibit rust.
•
Covered or indoor storage is recommended.
