Standard Set-up: Scroll to BASIC menu - SELECT
1. Room ID
Default: Room 1
To change: Press SELECT. Flashing keybar indicates character
available to change. Use
t s
buttons to scroll through
alphanumeric character list until letter or number desired
appears. Press SELECT to accept selection and move to the
next character. If no change is desired, press SELECT to skip.
When all changes are complete, press SELECT until # sign
appears, then press SELECT to accept all changes and return
to BASIC Room ID menu.
2. Date and Time
Default: 01/01/1972
To change: Use SELECT key to navigate, [
t s
] to scroll
through alphanumeric characters, SELECT to accept selections
and return to BASIC Date/Time menu. Note that time is
24-hour time format: see table below.
3. Number of Lamps (in cross section)
Default: 3
To Change: Scroll [
t s
] to the proper number of lamps in
cross section – SELECT. When counting lamps, use number of
lamps in cross section. See examples below.
4. Number of Rows
Number of Rows of GEN / A/V Lighting (does not include
whiteboard)
Default: 2
To Change: Scroll using Use
t s
buttons to the number of
lighting rows installed in the classroom. SELECT.
5. Number of Whiteboards (whiteboard lighting)
Default: 1
To Change: Scroll [
t s
] to 0 or 2 – SELECT. This menu
item applies only to whiteboard lighting which is controlled
through the CCM.

When installing into wall boxes, care must be taken to remove excess CAT5 cable from box prior to installation.
Cable connections must remain straight and true, free of excess pressure, and properly aligned.
