7.2.2 Air fi ltering
NOTICE
Insuffi cient maintenance on the air fi lter
The power of the machine lessens and damage may
occur to the machine.
Intake air fi lter:
The fi lter cartridges (Fig. 6/f
1
) must be cleaned
monthly or more often depending on the level of
contamination by purging from the inside outwards.
In spite of cleaning the fi lters their separation ef-
fi ciency will continue to deteriorate. Therefore the
fi lters should be replaced every six months.The fi lter
insert (Fig. 6/f) is removed for purging after remov-
ing the screws (Fig. 6/s
1
) on the fi lter housing cover
(Fig. 6/d) of the fi lter housing area Fig. 6/e). The fi lter
cartridges (Fig. 6/f
1
) are replaced on the fi lter base
by undoing the screws (Fig. 6/s
2
).
Also clean the fi lter housing area (Fig. 6/e) .
Re-assemble in reverse order. Use the gasketFig. 6/
c) again when installing.
