IMpORTANT! Do not use this appliance
near bath tubs, wash basins, showers or
other water containers! Never place the
appliance in water!
• After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its
integrity based on the drawing and check for any damage caused
during transport. If in doubt, do not use the appliance and contact
the authorised service centre.
• Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic
wrapping out of the reach of children; risk of suffocation!
• Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains voltage
data reported on the identification plate corresponds to that of the
available electric mains. The identification plate is attached to the
appliance.
• This appliance must be used solely for the purpose for which it
was designed, namely, as a intense pulsed light epilator for home
use. Any other use is improper and potentially dangerous.
• This appliance is not suitable to be used in the presence of flammable
anaesthetic mixtures with air or Oxygen or Nitrous Oxide.
• DO NOT use the appliance with wet hands, damp feet or
barefoot.
• DO NOT pull the power cord or the appliance itself to remove
the plug from the socket.
• DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather conditions
(rain, sun).
• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning
or performing maintenance and when the appliance is not in use.
• In case of a fault or malfunctioning of the appliance, switch it off
and do not tamper with it. If the appliance needs to be repaired,
contact an authorised technical service centre.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by an authorised
technical service centre, so as to prevent all risks.
• The appliance must only be used on human hair. Do not use on
animals.
• DO NOT obstruct the ventilation filters (2).
• DO NOT use the appliance if the skin colour sensor (5B) is
cracked or broken.
• DO NOT use the appliance if the external casing is cracked or
broken.
• DO NOT use the appliance if the lamp (5 or 15) is damaged or if
the treatment surface (5A or 15A) is cracked, chipped or missing.
• DO NOT use the appliance if the plug (14) is cracked or broken.
• The appliance must only be used with the supplied TYpE
KSAPV0361200300D5 plug (14).
• NEVER look directly at the light emitted from the treatment
surface (5A or 15A).
• NEVER point the treatment surface (5A or 15A) whilst emitting
pulsed light towards an empty space.
