5.1
Maintenance
The only maintenance activity required is replacing the batteries.
Note
For maintenance of the electrodes refer to the relevant operating
manuals.
5.1.1
Replacing the batteries
CAUTION
Make sure that the poles of the batteries are the right way round.
The
±
signs on the batteries must correspond to the
±
signs in the
battery compartment.
Only use leakproof alkaline manganese batteries.

Open the battery compartment (1) on the underside of the
meter.

Remove the four batteries from the battery compartment.
3
Place four new batteries (type Mignon AA) in the battery
compartment.
4
Close the battery compartment (1).
The date (day) flashes in the display.
5
Set the date and time according to page 42.
