Parallel ATA and Serial ATA device configurations

Following are the Parallel ATA and Serial ATA device configurations
supported by Intel ICH5 specifications.

Native IDE mode capable operating systems (OS) are Windows 2000/XP.
ICH5 supports a maximum of six (6) devices using these OS.

Legacy IDE compatible mode OS are MS-DOS, Windows 98/Me/NT4.0.
ICH5 supports a maximum of four (4) devices using these OS.
