Chapter 4: Software support
Chapter 4
•
The actual performance boost may vary depending on your CPU specification.
•
Do not remove the thermal module. The thermal conditions should be monitored.
Refer to the software manual in the support DVD or visit the ASUS website at
www.asus.com for detailed software configuration.
Items Function description
CPU Load-line Calibration
It allows you to adjust the voltage range to control CPU Load Line. Set to a high
value for system performance or to a low value for power efficiency.
CPU Current Capability
A higher value provides wider total power range and extends the overclocking
frequency range simultaneously.
CPU Voltage Frequency
It allows you to enable Spread Spectrum to enhance system stability.
iGPU Load-line Calibration
iGPU Load-line is based onIntel VRM specifications, and affects the iGPU voltage.
A higher value can get a higher iGPU voltage and a good performance, but
decreases the CPU and VRM thermal conditions.
iGPU Current Capability
A higher value brings higher iGPU power range, and extends the overclocking
frequency range simultaneously to enhance the iGPU performance.
CPU Power Phase Control
Increase phase number under heavy system loading to get more transient and
better thermal performance. Reduce phase number under light system loading to
increase VRM efficiency.
CPU Power Response Control
The DIGI+ VRM controller provides a faster and precise power response rate for
CPU. Apply a higher value for an extreme overclocking.
CPU Power Duty Control
CPU Power Duty Control adjusts the current of every VRM phase and the thermal
of every phase component.
