Push the extension spindle over the stem. Cut the exten-
sion spindle so that it extends 3/16” outside the surface
of the finished wall.
Remove the plug from the spout port.
Thread the coupling over the stem. Cut the coupling so
that it extends ¼” outside the surface of the finished wall.
For the spout: Measure the distance between the rough
and the end of the plaster shield Record this measure-
ment (“X”).
