Oil Cooler Installation
1. Using hose clamps supplied, attach the two
ends of the hose to the cooler inlets (cooler
core will flow in both directions so it does not
matter which is the inlet or outlet), creating a
loop.
2. Mount cooler to radiator or AC condenser
core using supplied plastic rods, clips and
foam pads. Separate foam pad into four and
peel paper backing off and apply a pad to
each corner of the cooler core. The foam
pads act as a cushion between oil cooler and
radiator/condenser.
3. Then take plastic rods and clips, inserting a
rod in each corner of oil cooler and through
radiator/condenser. Make sure rods clear
tubes in oil cooler and radiator. Install clips
onto rods and tighten until oil cooler cannot
move. Cut off extra length of plastic rod
protruding through clip.
4. Route hoses to sandwich adapter, use
caution to avoid sharp or hot objects and
make sure all hose bend radiuses are at
least 5” or the diameter of a coffee can.
5. Cut and attach hoses to sandwich adapter
using hose clamps provided.
