94-08 Dodge Ram Transmission Test Port Extender
1. Wrap the male threads of the 1/8 th NPT adapter with Teflon tape to prevent any transmission fluid leaks.
2. Thread the 1/8
th
NPT adapter into the female side of the test port extender and tighten with a wrench.
3. Once the test port extender and adapter are is together, install the 1/8 th NPT temperature sensor into the female
end of the 1/8
th
NPT adapter.

Note: Be sure to use Teflon tape on the threads to ensure a tight seal.
4. Remove the bolt that plugs your transmission’s test port; this will be the middle bolt on the passenger’s side.
5. Thread the test port extender with the sensor installed into your transmission’s test port.


6. Tighten both the test port extender and sensor with a wrench.
7. After the test port extender and temperature sensor is installed be sure to check for leaks.
