1. Thoroughly clean the area to be mounted with rubbing alcohol to remove any and
all wax and dirt. Then swipe the area once with the adhesive promoter provided.
Make sure you also clean and swipe the entire black plastic factory grille.
2. The main stainless steel insert comes to you pre-shaped however it WILL be
absolutely necessary to further shape the insert by hand to achieve a nice perfect
contour to the Camano’s header area. You can do this by setting the piece in place
to determine what adjustments may be necessary. Mold the insert between your
fingers until it fits perfectly without forcing any part of it to contour to the car.
Once this is done simply peel the red release liner from the back of the insert and
then carefully set it into position. Press firmly to set. A nicely set insert will sit
nice and tight into the two tiny notches of the insert.
3. You have been provided with three lengths of chrome trim. Tuck the smaller one
at the bottom insert of the factory grill so that the ends fall just behind the insert’s
back edge. The next size goes just above that one and then the final one adheres
directly to the painted ridge between the top corners of the insert. Peel the
protective liner to finish the installation.
