C5 CORVETTE PERFORATED BELT TENSION COVER

Clear Household Silicone 3/8 ¾ standard thread

1. You will notice a small tab sticking up at one end of your new cover. Insert this
tab behind the engine throttle body and just under the sensor connector.
2. Next locate the bolt hole just by the large tab at the opposite side of the cover.
Line this up and screw in with the bolt (provided) just slightly. At this time check
and see that you have adequate clearance between the belt tension cover and the
belt tension pulley. You should have about a finger size space between them. If
the cover is too close to the pulley remove and adjust shape by gently curving the
cover until you have provided the accurate amount of space between the two.
Once this is achieved replace bolts and tighten.
3. Cover the bolt with the chrome cap provided. (You can use a small dab of clear
household silicone in the cap to insure that it stays in place).
