2. You will notice two support beams in a U shape. These two beams must be
scrubbed with household isopropyl alcohol, as well as the three recessed areas.
Once cleaned apply the adhesive promoter (provided) to the two beams.
3. Next apply household silicone (in a HIGH pile) to the areas of your new panel
marked with an X.
4. Remove the red liner from the 3M-attachment tape and carefully place the panel
into place and press firmly to set at the beam areas.
5. Press the sides so that the silicone touches both the trunk lid and the new panel. It
would be best to leave the trunk lid in the up position overnight until the silicone
sets.

Note: Care must be taken when cleaning your panels. It is a good idea to
lightly dust your panels with a clean soft cloth first in order to prevent any
particles from scratching it. Then wipe (using a new clean soft cloth) with a
good quality streak free glass cleaner.
