1. The first step will be to rearrange the main water inlet hose to a nice and neat and out of your face

location. Do this by detaching the hose from the radiator channel. There should only be a couple of
plastic retainers you will see upon examination of the hose. Detach the hose from these points and
then tuck the hose under the factory air tube so that it ports out from the lower back corner of the air
tube. To allow the hose to sit at this new location you will need to squeeze the hose clamp to allow
the hose to rotate to its new position and remain there. Make sure that the clamps two tabs are
rotated so that they no longer protrude upwards and than they are set over to the side. This will allow
the new cover to set down in place and not be obstructed by the clamp. You may also need to snip off
a little length of this hose as the connection elbow to sit nice and close to the tank. Some hoses set
pretty far out from the tank which would not allow the new cover to sit nice and snug. If this is the
case simply snip off the excess with a scissor or tin snip as you are relocating the hose.

2. The next step will be to toughly scrub clean the top surface of the tank to remove any and all road

grime and or dirt. Then swipe the tank with the adhesive promoter provided. Do the same to the tanks
cap as well. You have been provided with four Velcro cookies. The main purpose of these cookies is to
use them to create leveling spacers if needed. The water tank has been designed to sit nice and level
but if you look closely at the factory tank you will notice that it isn’t exactly flat on top. This fact may
cause the new cover to sit a little tilted. Since the cover should fit nice and snug to the factory tank it
may just set in place nice and straight. However if it should want to tilt a little use the Velcro cookies as
a spacer at any location of the factory tank that would level the new cover. Simply peel the release
liner from the two connected cookies and place them where they are needed. Although it should not
be necessary to use the Velcro cookie to attach the new cover you can apply any reaming cookies to
use as an attachment method.

3. The last thing to do will be to attach the new covers decorative cap by removing the cookie located

under the cap. Set the cookie directly to the factory cap. Then set the large stainless ring supplied with
you kit over the factory cap and then set the new decorative cap cover in place.

4. Finally your kit comes to you with a small stainless plate that has a small square of attachment tape

attached to it. This plate has been supplied in the event that you are also using the ACC radiator cover.
It is an extension plate designed to extend the left side of the radiator cover so that it matches up with
the new water tank cover. Simply peel and stick it to its obvious intended location on the left side of
the new tank cover directly to the radiator cover. This part will do a nice job of aligning the new water
tank up with the radiator cover.
