them through the new cover without chafing them. This will simply be a matter of zip tying them to the fan
shroud in a tighter and secure manner. This will allow you to slip the hoses through the radiator covers openings
nice and easily.

3. You will notice two factory bolts securing the top of the fan shroud to the radiator itself. Remove these two

bolts. (Note: these will not be reused). You have been provided with two 1.5” replacement bolts and two black
plastic spacers. These spacers will be used between the new cover and the bolt holes exposed from the factory
bolts. Peal the red release liner from each black spacer and then firmly attach them to the back side of the new
covers two whole locations. This will allow the new cover to be mounted at the factory bolt locations and the
spacers will take up space provided for the factory gussets attached to the fan shroud bolt locations.

4. Before you install the main shroud you have been provided with two long self-stick stainless extensions. You will

notice tow areas on both side of the engine bay just in front of the shock towers. This are will look unfinished
once the main cover is installed we have provided these tow insert to be applied to these two areas. On the
passenger side you will need to move the factory wire harness that wrought through that area so as to allow you
to insert the section and form it to the curve shape of this area. Simply shape the section by hand until it
matches the curvature of that area perfectly. You will notice that each of the two sections has a small soft notch
cut out of it. This will allow you to tuck the section nicely into that area and give it a nice finished look. Simply
peel the red release liner from the back off the two sections and firmly press them into place. You will repeat
the same prose’s for the opposite side of the engine bay. You may encounter a stud bolt protruding from the
driver’s side. This stud is a redundant assembly pin and can be removed.

5. Now that you have successfully installed the two smaller sections peel the protective liner and move onto the

main section. Loosely set the new cover into position. Wrought the two fill neck hoses in through the two holes
in the cover and then jostle it over the fill neck. You will need to force the A/C fill line to the right of the radiator
all the way down as far as it will go. Since this line is a soft aluminum it will allow you to reshape it downwards
so as to allow the new cove to set over this area nicely. The tab at this area of the radiator cover will sit atop this
line and will cause the tab to sit slightly elevated on that side. This is how it is intended to set. You will need to
pull the radiator neck forward a little in order to allow the new cover to slip over the water neck as you wrought
the two hosed through the new cover. Once you have got the cover over the neck it will allow you to set it into
its intended position. At this point you will need to manipulate the cover so as to align the two holes in the cover
with the factory threaded holes exposed earlier. Use a long Phillips head screwdriver to align these two holes
and then set the two 1.5 6MM flange head bolts provided. Simply insert these tow bolts and snug them down.
Be careful not to over tighten the bolts as this will distort the metal in the new cover. Just snug will work fine.
Remove the protective liner.

6. Reinstall your factory air tube and air box to finish the installation.
