2. You will notice a heavy wire harness snapped into the battery tray and a
negative body ground lead strung across to the shock tower. Temporarily unbolt
this ground lead and unsnap the heavy harness and let it drop to the side of the
battery tray. Using the large zip tie provided fasten the heavy harness thru the
snap hole and fasten the harness so that it runs along the side of the battery tray
and just underneath the snap hole. Next fasten the ground lead under the tab it
was originally bolted to. Simply bolt it back under running the factory bolt
upwards until tight.
3. Once adjustments have been properly made place the battery cover over the
stock battery and place it in the notches of the battery tray. Remove protective
liner.
Note: Care must be taken when cleaning your cover. It is a good idea to lightly dust your
cover with a clean soft cloth first in order to prevent any particles from scratching it.
Then wipe (using a new clean soft cloth) with a good quality streak free glass cleaner.
