Your new bumper cap has been designed to set into the formed area on your factory
bumper offering a nice custom look as well as protection for the bumper area.
1. Thoroughly clean the factory bumper inset area with rubbing alcohol to remove any
dirt and wax that may be present. Then swipe the area once with the adhesive promoter
packet provided.
2. Before you permanently install your new insert place it in position to get acquainted
with its position as well as the procedure of placement. It is important to be able to set the
insert in such a way as to line up the part with the factory groove of the bumper. So it is
important to practice the positioning a little. The attachment tape is very aggressive and
will only allow one shot at final placement. Once you have familiarized yourself with the
placement peel the red release liner from the back of the insert and carefully place into
position. Then press firmly to set.
3. Apply a bead of adhesive promoter tube along the edge of the insert directly to the
paint. You have been supplied with a length of chrome trim. This trim is to be used to
finish the edge of the insert. Peel a small length of the red release liner from one end of
the trim and set in position so that the trim inserts into the groove on its side capping the
edge of your stainless insert and work your way around to the opposite side then snip off
any excess trim with a scissor and press firmly along the entire length to set. Peel the
protective liner.

Thank you and enjoy your purchase!
Note: EXTRA CARE must be taken when cleaning your stainless trim. It is a
good idea to lightly dust your trim with a clean soft cloth first in order to prevent
any particles from scratching it. Then wipe (using a new clean soft cloth) with a
good quality streak free glass cleaner.
