Once you have shaped and fitted each piece simply peel the red release liner from the
back and firmly set in place.
4. The large section lays flat however before you peel and stick the last part place it in
position to make sure that it indeed lays flat. If it doesn’t, make any adjustments by hand
so that it does. Then simply peel and carefully set it in place pressing firmly over the
entire surface to achieve a nice bond. Remove the protective liners.
5. You have been provided with three decorative chrome caps. These caps are to be
placed at the oil fill, coolant fill and over flow tank fill. In order to install these caps you
will need to thoroughly clean each cap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove dirt then
swipe once with the adhesive promoter provided. You will notice that there is a Velcro
attachment cookie secured under each cap. Remove the cookie half and attach them to the
three prepared factory caps. Then simply place each cap cover in position.

SPECIAL TECH NOTE
: If you are also installing or plan to install our custom hood
panel insert you will need to perform some clearance modifications to the engine shroud
mounting bracket. First you will need to remove the engine shroud.
1. Unplug the mass air flow harness just to the right and underneath the shroud.
2. Loosen the main air tube clamp.
3. Unclamp the small vacuum tube to the left of the main air tube and pull the tube loose.
4. Detach the intake tube from the left inner fender wall.
5. The shroud is mounted via three push on retainers. Simply pull up on the entire unit
and lift it out of the engine bay.
6. Remove the two bolts securing the front left mounting bracket and remove. NOTE:
This bracket will not be reused.
7. You will notice the mounting bracket attached to the back of the engine. Remove this
bracket and place on a table. Place a mark on the bracket 1/2'' up from the two holes
center to center. Drill two 3/8'' holes at you marks. This will enable you to lower this
bracket by 1/2''. Once this step is complete, simply reattach the bracket and reinstall the
entire engine shroud assembly.

cover "shine" you will need to make an extra
effort in cleaning and preparing the surface for
installation.

defects. Installation errors are not manufacturing
defects and parts can not be returned do to improper
installation.
