This new cover has been designed to cover the factory water tank and will provide a nice
custom look to the area. The cover is simple to install with just a few steps.

Your new cover comes to you with a protective liner. Do not remove this liner until prompted
by instructions.

1. Remove the water tank pressure cap. Remove the factory bolt just above and to the right
side of the tank. Then turn the water tank clip on the top of the water tank down wards, so that
the clip does not dig the metal when fastening the water tank down. NOTE: This factory bolt
will not be reused.

2. You have been provided with a couple sets of 2’’ Velcro cookies. These are used for the front
right of the water tank to help support the uneven shape of the factory water tank.
Place a couple on the front part of the water tank closet to the driver fender to make contact
with the factory water tank and the new stainless cover.

3. Now place the new cover over the water tank and align the bolt hole with the one on the
cover. Make sure to place the yellow spacer between the metal and the plastic on the water
tank, where the bolt will be fastened using the pan head screw provided. Make sure to put the
white socket clip on before you tighten the bolt down this will be used to snap the chrome cap
cover onto the bolt head. Be carefully not to OVER tighten the screw as this will distort the new
cover. Just snug will be sufficient.

4.You have been provided with a chrome decorative cap cover, simply clean the factory cap
with household alcohol and then swipe once with the adhesive promoter provided then install
the chrome cap by using the Velcro attachment cookies that are attached.

NOTE: Care must be taken when cleaning your cover. It is a good idea to lightly dust your
cover with a clean California Duster first in order to prevent any particles from scratching
them. Then wipe (using a new clean soft cloth or better yet Bounty paper towels) with a
good quality streak free glass cleaner. PLEASE SEE ENLOSED CARE SHEET.
