1. Clean entire area with soap and water. Then scrub area with household
isopropyl alcohol. Next wipe the entire hood brace area with the adhesive
promoter (provided).
2. Before you permanently install your new cover it will be necessary to pre
shape the cover so that it conforms to the odd shaped center brace without
forcing. It may take a few times to get the fit just right a friend would be very
helpful to support it as you gently curve the cover to fit.
3. Once you are satisfied with its shape and overall fit mark a center mark on
the hood and on the new cover. This will be your starting point when you are
ready to permanently attach.
4. Completely remove the red liner from the attachment tape on the back of
this cover. Carefully place the new cover at the center mark making sure that
your cover is straight side-to-side. Firmly press your new cover in place
starting at the center working out to either side. With a soft clean cloth
firmly press entire cover to set. Once completely set remove the protective
liner.
Note: Care must be taken when cleaning your cover. It is a good idea to lightly
dust your cover with a clean soft cloth first in order to prevent any particles
from scratching it. Then wipe (using a new clean soft cloth) with a good quality
streak free glass cleaner.
