Introduction: The ACC fluid cap set is a unique accessory with an innovative system designed to allow you or
anyone to install the cap and or caps almost instantly and easily to just about any automotive fluid access cap.
The size and shape of the cap will cover the majority of factory cap sizes. The ACC cap set is available for
specific applications as well as universal applications depending on your needs.
1. The first step for all ACC caps is the preparation of the surface. Thoroughly scrub and clean the top of
the factory fluid cap with alcohol to remove any and all road grime, dirt, grease or oil. Make sure it is
free of any possible contaminates. Once this is done swipe the area with the special adhesive promoter
provided. This chemical is NOT a cleaner. It is an adhesive accelerator, designed to prepare any surface
for a long lasting and permanent bond of the very reliable adhesive Velcro attachment cookies.
2. You will notice that the ACC fluid cap contains a Velcro cookie attached to the underside of the cap.
Peel the cookie half from the cap and then remove the release liner from the half exposing the
adhesive. Then press the cookie onto the factory fluid cap so that it completely bonds to the factory
cap.
3. The factory wind shield washer fluid cap will need to be trimmed slightly in order for the new cover to sit
nice and centered. To do this, simply snip the finger tab as well as the attachment strap off the cap with
scissors or wire cutters.
4. Now that you have successfully bonded the cookie half to the factory cap simply place the new ACC
decorative cap over the factory cap to enjoy its new look.
The ACC decorative fluid cap is not designed to allow you to remove or replace the factory cap, with it
in place. It is a decorative cover that is intended for you to be able to instantly remove it and replace it
when accessing your factory fluids. Simply pull it off and then press it on.
