3. Gently pre-bend the plates to fit. VERY IMPORTANT: The metal is flexible
enough to allow you to gently curve it so that the plates fit the door area
without forcing it to lay flat. It should hug the door jam as if it was installed
before removing the red liner.
4. When you are satisfied with the fit, then remove the red liner from the attachment
tape and firmly press.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU SLOWLY INSERT THE PLATES
INTO PLACE, THE ATTACHMENT TAPE IS VERY RELIABLE AND IT
MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA TO MAKE A COUPLE OF TEST FITS BEFORE
PULLING THE RED LINER!
YOU HAVE ONLY ONE SHOT AT THIS SO GO SLOWLY!
5. Pilot a 1/8” hole at the bottom two holes for each side and install the stainless
pop rivets provided. This will insure the bottom edge does not come loose and
damage your sill.
