9064 Processing Error Troubleshooting
Table 3-5 provides 9064 processing troubleshooting information. If the 9064
card exhibits any of the symptoms listed in Table 3-5, follow the
troubleshooting instructions provided.
In the majority of cases, most errors are caused by simple errors where the
9064 is not appropriately set for the type of signal being received by the card.
Note:
The error indications shown below are typical for the corresponding error con-
ditions listed. Other error indications not specified here may also be displayed
on DashBoard™ and/or the 9064 card edge status indicators.
Note:
Where errors are displayed on both the 9064 card and network remote con-
trols, the respective indicators and displays are individually described in this
section.

Frame sync reference not
properly selected or not being
received
• If external frame sync reference is not
intended to be used, make certain the
Framesync Enable selection list is set to Off
or Input Video as desired.
• If external frame sync reference is intended to
be used, make certain selected external
frame sync reference is active on frame sync
8320 frame bus. (External reference signals
Reference 1 and Reference 2 are distributed
to the 9064 and other cards via an 8320
frame bus.) Refer to Framesync function
submenu tab on page 3-27 for more
information.
