10.Loosely tighten all the hardware allowing the center collar pieces to adjust for alignment after assem-
bling the center collar channels and cap plates.
11.Attach the appropriate lifting chains (O) to the previously installed lifting eye bolts on the center collar
channels and cap plates assembly.
12.Attach the appropriate lifting chains (O) to the appropriate lifting device (P).
13.Use the appropriate lifting device (P) and qualified personnel to hoist the cap plate assembly (Q)
onto the center collar assembly (R).
14.Ensure all the cap plate holes align on the center collar assembly.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to assemble the center collar assembly along with the channels and cap
plates assembly together before lifting onto the roof. With many pieces, there is more
possible variation in the diameter of the assembled center collar and cap plate holes
may not align with a fully tightened and assembled center collar
15.Tighten all the hardware installed in the center collar assembly to the recommended torque specifica-
tions, see Bolt Torque Specifications, page 24 .
