6.1 Operation VEGASOURCE 35 - version A
Warning:
Make sure before switching on the radiation that no persons are
inside the radiation areas (also not inside the vessel).
Radiation must only be switched on by trained personnel.
The figures in brackets refer to the following illustration.

Initial situation: Source holder is in position OFF
1. Press the protective cover strongly against the source container
and …
2. Turn the protective cover by 45° clockwise up to the stop
3. Pull the protective cover upward
4. Put the key into the keyhole
5. Turn the key 45° anticlockwise
6. Pull out the key lock up to the stop
7. If available: Loosen the pin with a hexagon spanner (spanner size
5) (only with instrument with additional function "Density meas-
urement with fixing")
8. Turn the complete insert 180° anticlockwise
