I n Ex applications, the regulations for the wiring of intrinsically safe
circuits must be observed.
D epending on the reason for the fault and the measures taken, the
steps described in chapter "Set up" may have to be carried out again.
6 .3 Shorten suspension cable
S horten the suspension cable individually. Proceed as follows:
1 R emove the filter adapter from the transparent capillary line
2 C ut the suspension cable with an edge cutter to the requested
length
Caution:
D
o not squeeze the capillary cable, this will influence the pressure
compensation. If necessary, rework with a sharp knife.
3 R emove approx. 10 cm of the cable mantle, strip off approx. 1 cm
of the wire ends
I nsert the filter adapter
T he work steps are finished.
6 .4 Shorten suspension cable
T he suspension cable can be shortened individually. For the version
with plastic or stainless steel housing proceed as follows:
1 U
nscrew the housing cover
2 L oosen the screw terminals and remove the wire ends of the
suspension cable out of the screw terminals
3 H old the hexagon on the screwed socket with SW 46 and loosen
with seal screw SW 22
Caution:

eal screw is secured with Loctide pink, mote breakaway torque!
