Depending on the failure reason and measures taken, the steps
described in chapter "Set up" must be carried out again, if necessary.
8 .3 Exchanging the electronics module
If the electronics module is defective, it can be replaced by the user.
In Ex applications only one instrument and one electronics module with
respective Ex approval may be used.
If there is no electronics module available on site, one can be ordered
from the VEGA agency serving you.
The new electronics module must be loaded with the settings of the
sensor. These are the options:
l At the factory by VEGA
l Or on site by the user
In both cases, the sensor serial number is needed. The serial numbers
are stated on the type label of the instrument, inside the housing or on
the delivery note.
Information:
When loading on site, first of all the order data must be downloaded
from the Internet (see operating instructions manual "Oscillator").
The electronics modules are adapted to the respective sensor and
distinguish also in the signal output or power supply.
Oscillator PS-E.60KF suitable for K band VEGAPULS 61, 62, 63 -
Foundation Fieldbus. The following versions are available which differ
in the approvals:
l PS-E.60KFX (X = without approvals)
l PS-E.60KFA (A = approvals CA, DA, EA according to product list)
l PS-E.60KFD (D = approvals KX, KF according to product list)
l PS-E.60KFE (E = approvals CX, DX, CK, DI, EX, GI, UX, UF
according to product list)
Oscillator PS-E.60KL suitable for K band VEGAPULS 61, 62, 63 -
Foundation Fieldbus. The following versions, which differ in their
approvals, are available:
l PS-E.60KLX (X = without approvals)
l PS-E.60KLA (A = approvals CA, DA, EA according to product list)
l PS-E.60KLD (D = approvals KX, KF according to product list)
l PS-E.60KLE (E = approvals CX, DX, CK, DI, EX, GI, UX, UF
according to product list)
