Various measurement loop-related parameters of VEGASCAN can be enquired or modified via
the Profibus.
The following list gives an overview on the parameters involved:
Parameter name possible access mode
Integration time reading writing
Scaling (0 %) reading writing
Scaling (100 %) reading writing
The enquiry or modification of parameters via the Profibus is made always according to the
same procedure. Operating mode 6E6A is obligatory. VEGASCAN receives in the 6 byte data
area (inputs/outputs) the data for the parameter enquiries. The enquired parameter is sent in
the answer data of VEGASCAN (6 byte inputs of Profibus master) or confirmed, if the param-
eter has been modified.
