4 Mounting
4 .1 General instructions
VEGATOR 532 Ex can be optionally mounted into a single housing
type 505 Ex or with a module in a carrier BGT 596 or BGT 596 Ex.
Module
Module consisting of:
Multipoint connector DIN 41612, series F, 33-pole with coded pin and
mounting material for mounting in carrier BGT 596.
Ex module
Ex-module consisting of:
Multipoint connector DIN 41612, series F, 33-pole with coded pins, Ex-
separating chamber and mounting material for mounting into carrier
BGT
596 Ex.
Single housing
Plastic housing type 505 Ex for single mounting of signal conditioning
instruments with an instrument width of 5 TE (25.4 mm/1 in).
To protect VEGATOR 532 Ex against unauthorised and inadvertent
adjustment, the front plate can be covered with a lead-sealable
transparent cover.
4 .2 Mounting instructions
The socket of the single housing type 505 Ex can either be screwed
directly to the mounting plate or can be plugged onto a carrier rail
TS
35 x 7.5 according to EN 50022 or TS32 according to EN 50035.

A VEGATOR 532 Ex in Ex version is an auxiliary, intrinsically safe
instrument and must not be installed in explosion-endangered areas.
Mount the respective module (standard or Ex version) on your carrier
BGT
596 or BGT 596 Ex.
The female multipoint connector is available in the following
connection versions:
l Wire-Wrap standard connection 1 x 1 mm
l Plug connection 2,8 x 0.8 mm
l Termi-Point standard connection 1,6 x 0.8 mm
l Soldering connection
l Screw terminals 2 x 0.5 mm²
