Telephone operation
Intercom
Use this feature for conversations between two handsets.
To initiate an intercom call:
Press INTERCOM when the handset is not in use. It beeps and the INTERCOM key flashes. All destination cordless handsets and
the main telephone base ring. The INTERCOM keys on the cordless handsets and INT key on the main telephone base flash.
To initiate an intercom call during a call:
During a call, press HOLD to put the current call on hold. Then press INTERCOM. It beeps and the INTERCOM key flashes. All
destination cordless handsets and the main telephone base ring. The INTERCOM keys on the cordless handsets and INT key on
the main telephone base flash.
To answer an intercom call:
Press
INTERCOM on the handset.
To answer an incoming call during an intercom call:
Press the flashing line key on the handset. The intercom call ends automatically.
To end an intercom call:
Press
OFF or place the handset back in its telephone base.
Conference call
This telephone allows three-way conversations.
To initiate a conference call:
Place a call to the first party.
Press
HOLD to place the first party on hold.
Place a second call on the other line.
Once the second party is on the line, press
CONF to start a three-way conference.
To initiate a conference call while both calls are on hold:
Press
CONF to start a three-way conference.
To end a conference call:
Press OFF on the handset.
Place the handset back in its telephone base.
When there is more than one handset on the conference call, the call ends when all handsets hang up.
