Part number 41595 was discontinued. This is a Model 35 cross shaft that has two grooves for
snap rings that retain it in the differential case. It was used in internal parts kit, 706967-1X
which is discontinued also. This internal parts kit was used to repair differential assembly kits
74210X and 72030-1X in early Jeep Model 35 applications.
Differential assembly kit 74210X is also serviced by internal parts kit 707349X in later Jeep
applications. This internal parts kit has a cross shaft with a drilled hole for a shaft lock pin.
Use 707349X as an internal parts kit for all listings of the 74210X.
Differential assembly 72030-1X does not have a drilled hole in the case to accept a shaft lock
pin, so the 707349X will not service this part. Anyone with a 72030-1X needing an internal
parts kit will have to replace the differential assembly with a complete differential assembly kit
number 74210X.
