Spicer Light Axle Parts catalog for Jeep, X510-6DSD, dated January 1997, contains
misprints that need to be corrected. Please make the following changes to your
catalogs.
Model 44 rear, variable parts section, pages 98-102, “seal - inboard shaft,” line
#25:
The following base Bills of Material do not use an inboard shaft seal. (The catalog
states that they do.)

The information for this inboard shaft seal for the other Bills of Material is correct.
The inner parts kit for the following Bills of Material is 707099X (page 96):
605329-5 605329-6
Kit number 73611X (used in 707115X): Historically, our engineering records have
shown that this could only be used for limited slip, 3.73 and down applications. This
has changed and this kit can be used with 4.10 and down gear ratios.
