Leaks
General Description: The point where a weep turns into a leak is when the stained area is larger than 12 inches
in diameter or length. The stain may have a heavy build-up of dirt and be saturated in lubricant but still not show as
being wet or dripping lube. A moderate or heavy leak will have an area that is wet and has a greasy appearance.
When a leak reaches this level the RTV has been damaged to the point that it must be replaced to insure the repair
will last. The carrier must be removed to complete this repair.
