HR Green designs, constructs, owns and operates senior living
communities. Our experience with each step of senior living development
and operation has enabled us to serve clients who aspire to own and
operate such facilities, as well. Communities with a high aging population

DESIGN: HR Green has been in the design business without interruption
since 1913. Our team of architects, engineers and technicians has refi ned
the design of our senior living facilities. HR Green’s design has evolved
through the experience and keen observation that comes from owning
and operating these facilities. We design affordable facilities that are also
beautiful, functional, and fi lled with amenities that make our resident’s family
and friends – including grandchildren – feel welcome. In many cases, our
design has been infl uenced by the real life experience of standing with our
own parents or grandparents through the aging process. Our facilities are
thus a blend of design and compassion.
CONSTRUCT: HR Green is also equipped to function as construction
manager for the development of senior living facilities. For each of our
facilities, we oversee all the real-world challenges of building, from site
selection and acquisition of property to the placement of the very last
cabinet and fl owerbed. Whether the facility is owned by HR Green or one of
our clients, our goal is the same every time: to provide a senior living facility
that achieves sustainable success.
OWN: HR Green understands the challenges of ownership, because we
ourselves are owners. Each of our senior living facilities contributes to our
capital asset portfolio and to our experience with the daily work of operations

As with design, our operations management is based on the needs of our
residents. In addition to providing seniors an active lifestyle in an assisted
living environment, each facility includes a secured memory care building.
The memory care building is staffed with qualifi ed professionals and equipped
with the necessary resources to meet the needs of residents with Alzheimer’s
or other forms of dementia. We understand the daily challenge this presents
to seniors and family, and we are there every day to meet that challenge
with respect, comfort and grace. Our services are delivered in a way that
promotes individuality, community, and involves family, friends and neighbors.
