2. Spread light coat of supplied grease onto frame mount bushing I.D. and
install on bar with slit side of bushing facing to the front.
3. Install brackets over the bushings and start the bolts but DO NOT TIGHTEN!
4. Make sure the bar looks centered. (the first bends will be equal distance from each
bracket)
IMPORTANT:
Check for the clearance between the frame & sway bar at the lower
a-arm mounts. The sway bar requires 1/8” minimum clearance. Some vehicles may
require grinding in the noted areas.
5. Re-install passenger front wheel and torque to manufacturer specifications.
6. With the truck on the ground, install both end links. DO NOT TIGHTEN ONE
SIDE UNTIL BOTH SIDES ARE INSTALLED LOOSELY! To do this, start
with either side by inserting the long bolt with one washer and one bushing up
through hole in lower a-arm. Then assemble through sway bar and tighten to
13 ft. lbs.
7. Tighten frame brackets to 20 ft. lbs. and check end links for torque.
8. Re-install skid plate and tighten.
