INSTALLATION OF HOTCHKIS REAR STABILIZER BAR
1) Securely block the front wheels of the vehicle. Jack up the vehicle and support it with
jack stands.
2) Locate the two holes on the bottom of the rear axle, right by the lower shock mount.
3) Insert the 3/8” bolts (with flat washer) into the axle tube. The bolt closest to the end is
easy. The other bolt will need some patience. One method that works fairly well is to
fish some string through the hole and out the end of the axle tube. Tie the string to
the end of the bolt. Don’t forget the washer. Once tied, pull the string to bring the bolt
forward. Grab a telescoping magnet rod and use it to tilt the bolt head up. Doing both
of these maneuvers should easily allow the bolt to fall through the hole.
