3. Make sure surface is clean and then replace original starter pulley with
boss provided in Leak Shield Kit using original pulley bolt and o-ring. .
4. Place the plug in the weep hole and be sure to align properly. Apply RTV silicone in groove of
weep hole plug. Insert plug in weep hole just enough for it to stay (do not try to push
plug all the way in at this time). After plug is inserted, apply a layer of RTV silicone across
plug.
5. Install Leak Shield with bolts provided in kit as follows: hold Leak
Shield against engine and hand tighten bolts. Make certain that the plug
stays in place as you hand tighten bolts.
6. Tighten evenly to 5 ft. lbs. of torque. Do not use any power tools on
shield bolts.
