5) Next place an open-end wrench on the nut and crescent wrench on the end of the shock. Loosen the end of
the shock and remove completely.
6) Place tension back on the spring and remove the vise-grips.
7) Now remove the factory coil spring.
NOTE: Take care when removing any shock spring as the springs are under tension.
8) Now insert the High Lifter lift spring onto the shock.
9) Reinstall the plastic sleeve. (Make sure to reinstall the sleeve if applicable.)
10) Compress spring and insert clip or screw top of shock back onto the shock assembly.
11) Reattach shock and lower the ATV.
NOTE: On Polaris springs the tighter coils go to the top of the shock
