When the restore is finished, the clip will be moved to the final bin: Restored. If anything
goes wrong, the clip will be placed in the error bin: Restore Failed.
File Transfer Daemon is used instead of Tape Storage Controller when interfacing with
XenData.
Workflow 2: Restoring Clips Using Deep Archive Manager
The clips that are archived appear in the Archived tab of the IP2Archive Deep Archive
Manager. The librarian selects the clips to be restored and manually initiates the restore
process. The IP2Archive Deep Archive Controller picks up the requests and initiates the
restore process. It first checks if a hierarchical storage management system is available.
If this is the case, it assigns the restore requests to it.
