Pre-Running Car Detect Beep
When PRE-RUNNING CAR
DETECT BEEP is set to ON, one
beep sounds when the ACC detects a
vehicle in front of you. A beep also
sounds when that vehicle passes out
of the range of your vehicle's radar
sensor.
Select this item from ‘‘ACC SETUP’’
by pressing the INFO ( / ) button
repeatedly until
‘‘PRE-RUNNING
CAR DETECT BEEP ’’ is displayed.
Press the SEL/RESET button to
display the selections. Select ON or
OFF by pressing the INFO ( / )
button, then press the SEL/RESET
button to enter your selection. When your selection is successfully
completed, the display changes as
shown above, and then returns to the
customize item screen.
If the ‘‘SETTING INCOMPLETE’’
message appears, return to ‘‘PRE-
RUNNING CAR DETECT BEEP ’’
and repeat the procedure again.
